In Between

Right or wrong, in or out,

Always there must be a reason.

In Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter-

In every single season.

We must be in a single choice-

Yes or no, up or down.

We can't just be in between-

We either choose or we drown.

We can't say 'maybe,'

Only yes or no.

We can't say 'fine' or 'whatever you say'

Or at least, it seems so.

But really, nothing's wrong with

A simple 'possibly.'

Nothing's wrong with disagreeing,

Nothing's wrong with 'maybe.'

So be happy in the 'in between,'

Never argue or completely agree.

Stay happy and perfect where you are

Stand up for what you believe.
